Evviva! E' arrivato! Siiiii. L'ho aspettato qualche giorno e quando hanno suonato alla porta sapevo che era lui: il libro Top Down Crochet Sweters di Dora Ohrenstein (solo in inglese).

Per la verità l'ho ricevuto un mese fa, ma coerentemente con la mia slow life ne scrivo solo ora. Già l'ho detto, i miei tempi sono molto personali. Dal mio punto di vista il libro:
- è per principianti e falsi principianti come me, che non vogliono più solo copiare un modello, ma desiderano capire il meccanismo per poter poi creare;
- le spiegazioni sono accompagnate da foto, disegni e schemi e sono chiare, efficaci, utili e piacevoli;
- c'è interazione con il lettore, per es. indica come prendere le misure (parole, foto, disegno) e poi lascia lo spazio a chi legge di riportare quei numeri sul libro;
- direi che è il tentativo (nel mio caso riuscito) di diversificare delle nozioni così da poterle combinare per adattarle (personalizzarle) a tutte le tipologie di fruitori.
Actually I got it a month ago, but in accordance with my slow life, I'm writing about it just now. I've already told you: my sense of timing is very personal. From my point of view this book:
- is for beginners and false beginners like me, that don't want only to follow a pattern, but also to create one;
- explanations are clear, effective, useful and pleasant and always with photos, drawings and schemes;
- there is interaction with the reader, for ex: the author tells how to take measurements (words, photos, drawings) and than leaves room to report it on the book;
- she tried (and it worked with me) to diversify notions so you can combine them to personalise them for all the people.
Lo recensisce più accuratamente Valentina La Masca su "Maglia e uncinetto". Io posso dire che, per ora, mi sono fermata alle misure, perché poi sono stata distratta dal progetto di una pashmina, che a breve (si fa per dire), mostrerò.
